WINTER 2024 AT DECOFLORA

Oh my! Winter 2024 at Decoflora has been such a busy time.

As well as an exceptionally busy website with record breaking sales of faux Christmas flowers and decorations (thank you all soooo much), we've celebrated a family wedding and decorated the venue with artificial flowers that were truly spectacular, reopened the retail space at our West Cumbrian warehouse, created stunning Christmas flower arrangements and wreaths for our sister site, Decoflora Designs, and celebrated Christmas in style at our local golf club!

Mark and Seana's wedding at New House Farm, Lorton was a beautiful day filled with love, family, friends and, of course, flowers. A lot of hard work went into the floral decorations but Im hoping you will agree it was well worth it? 

Our retail factory shop was closed five years but we have constantly been put under pressure by locals to reopen and at the end of October 2024 we took the plunge and reopened our doors. It's been so lovely to see all our Cumbrian customers again. We'd forgotten how nice it is to see your smiling faces and hear your feedback. We've received the best and most brutally honest market research we could possibly undertake. There's nothing like a Cumbrian to tell you how it is, warts and all :)

Decoflora Designs is also the product of customer feedback, primarily from customers who love to fill their homes with flowers all year round but lack the confidence to create arrangements. We aim to provide hand tied bouquets that can be placed in a vase, without the need for rearranging, and enjoyed from the moment they are removed from their beautiful packaging. The response we've had has all been positive (phew!) and the creation of some timeless Winter displays has been great fun!

And anyone who knows will understand that we love to work hard but life is all about ablance and we love to  play hard too! We had a fabulous night at Whitehaven Golf Club's Christmas party night. Thank you to all the amazing staff for their great food and river of beverages. Hope you enjoy the pictures from the early evening before the real shenanigans began :)
